Our very own South African dancer Tsekeleke, the only chubby man who once became a street performer in Tshwane dancing for loose change, Mixon Tholo his real name, better know as Tsekeleke has been dancing his way into the hearts of millions and onto the digital main stage.

What started as spontaneous TikTok lives filled with hilarious phrases like “Thatha scream” and “Tau tau” quickly turned into viral gold. His larger-than-life energy, bold dance moves, and unmatched sense of humor carved him a niche few could rival. Today, Tsekeleke boasts a fanbase of over 100,000 TikTok followers and counting.

But he didn’t stop there.

In 2025, he turned his viral catchphrases into a chart-worthy single, proving he’s not just a social media moment but a movement. He landed a stylish sponsorship deal with local fashion brand Sepelete, and even threw a star-studded 40th birthday bash with names like Dr Malinga and Skomota in attendance.

Despite personal ups and downs including a public management split and joining the reality show “Lose It or Lose Me” Tsekeleke remains unapologetically himself. With his family now handling his bookings, he’s focused on growing his brand and inspiring the next generation of creators.

From being teased for his size to becoming an award winning influencer, Mixon’s journey is a testament to self belief. People's laughter didn't stop him, instead he hustled to persue his dream, to learn English and go global, and keep giving fans the joy they fell in love with.
